
The collection of psychological instruments and apparatuses comprises unique specimens as well as serial products. Among them are research instruments dated from the beginnings of psychological laboratories in the second half of the 19th century, experimental devices from several decades of the 20th century, demonstration systems used in academic education, apparatuses from the early days of applied psychology and psycho-technical testing, as well as systems used in applied psychology.
Today, the collection contains about 4,500 pieces and is the most inclusive of the subject in the Old World.
