    Sound documents at Adolf-Würth-Center

    The Adolf-Würth Centre possesses a series of different sound documents. Wax cylinders with musical recordings from all over the world and a shellac record of the philosopher and psychologist Carl Stumpf's directorate speech from 1908 rank amongst the oldest ones. Numerous tapes and audio cartridges with talks held by psychologists complete the collection up to the recent time. Our collection of wax cylinders is now completely digitalized and will be digitally restored continuously.  Subsequently, we will make the recordings available on our website categorized by their place of origin as far as known.  If you notice any defects or if your knowledge might be of help for the recordings historical classification, we would be pleased to hear from you.
