Adolf-Würth-Center for the History of Psychology

    Exhibition

Within the realms of it's possibilities, the Adolf-Würth-Center issues different exhibitions on changing topics.

Since May 2015 the museum shows on the basis of numerous source documents the life and work of the famous psychologist Carl Stumpf (1848-1936) and his equally important students Wolfgang Köhler (1887-1967), Kurt Koffka (1886-1941), Kurt Lewin (1890- 1947), Max Wertheimer (1880-1943) and Friedrich Schumann (1863-1940), who became popular all around the world for establishing the Frankfurt and Berlin School of Gestalt Psychology.

Next to biographical stories, visitors can look forward to historical sound and film recordings as well as demonstrations on original instruments.
